ABOUT
After 25 years, EDEN Gallery has become EDEN, House of Art. This shift is not just semantic. It symbolizes our own transformation and understanding that we don’t merely present art, we practice it.
Intro.
Art is meant to move. And yet…
Over the past 2-3 decades, instead of focusing on its core essence, the art world has provided us with a sterile, near-clinical experience, focusing on dry descriptions, gatekeepers of taste, and pedigree.
It has created walls between the ones who create it and the ones who love it, robbing many from the joy of experiencing it, alienating many others from even considering themselves lovers of art.
Challenging the status quo.
Unlike traditional art galleries, EDEN breaks down the boundaries between art and collector.
We don’t merely present art, but practice it in the most profound manner – in everything we do – meticulously curated exhibitions, events, original art works, and most importantly, through our new “Art Movements” – designed to allow the collector to connect with art in its purest form.
It’s within this belief that EDEN was born, and it’s what continues to drive us in everything we do.
The EDEN Evolution.
EDEN was founded in 1997 by Cathia Klimovsky with a vision to transform the relationship between artist and art lover. But only with the launch of the flagship Soho gallery in NYC did this vision start to fully take both form and flight. Equipped with a disruptive DNA and an unparalleled work ethic, EDEN has become one of the fastest growing art brands in the world, with 12 iconic locations spanning the globe, over 110,000 sq. ft of permanent art spaces and a constantly evolving roster of leading contemporary artists.
“I didn’t just want to display art. I wanted to create an experience that transcended it; to craft an experience that was in itself a work of art.”
